The 2021 CAER-IFPRI Annual Conference, Building Sustainable and Healthy Food Systems in China is co-host by China Agricultural University and IFPRI in Beijing, China, on October 28-30.
The conference is a significant gathering of the agricultural economics and rural development community. It aims to be a focal point for participants to refresh and re-energize while gaining new skills and knowledge. This conference has traditionally combined great academic content with a series of sessions addressing a wide range of interesting topics. Meanwhile, in order to better understand how agribusiness development may contribute to a sustainable and healthy food system, a priority task of China, this conference has arranged a particular round-table forum on the issue. Given the influence of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, this conference has organized two forms of participation. All international scholars and students will join this conference online while domestic participants in the field. As always, an outstanding gallery of speakers will once again share with us the most significant advances in our field. Also, this conference will provide support for policymakers.
