3rd CAER-IFPRI Annual International Conference
Is China Entering a High Food Price Era?

Background
China Agricultural Economic Review (CAER) is delighted to announce its third annual conference, which is being organized by the CAER editorial office and International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). CAER is an academic journal published by Emerald in association with China Agricultural University and Chinese Association of Agricultural Economists, and has been accredited
for SSCI (Social Science Citation Index) and SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded). The theme of 2011 conference is ‘Is China entering a high food price era?’, aiming to explore the cause of the volatile food prices in both China and the rest of the World as well as the related countermeasures. Internationally renowned scholars and policy makers will be brought together to discuss the related issues.

Submission Guidelines
Please format the submission following the Authors Guidelines, which is available on <http://info.emeraldinsight.com/products/journals/author_guidelines.htm?id=caer>. All submissions will be peer reviewed. Author(s) of the accepted papers, or at least one of them, are required to register and present their work at the conference.
Conference Proceedings
Depending on the number and quality of papers submitted, the organizer may publish selected conference papers in the form of a special journal issue.
Registration Fee and Other Costs
Activity Registration Fee
Participation in the excursion to the earthquake-stricken area: USD 80 (RMB 500)
No participation in the excursion to the earthquake-stricken area: No registration fee
The accepted presenters are, however, expected to cover their own transportation, accommodation and meals.
